Quick Analysis: Field Reference

Field Type Description Example
Persona / Ad-Hoc selector Dropdown Choose a saved persona to pre-fill settings, or select Ad-Hoc Analysis to enter details manually for a one-time run. “Acme Corp” or “Ad-Hoc Analysis”
Brand or Company Name Text (ad-hoc only, required) The brand or company to analyze. Only shown in ad-hoc mode. “Tesla”
Industry or Category Text (ad-hoc only, required) The industry or category the brand operates in. Only shown in ad-hoc mode. “Technology”
Description Text (ad-hoc only, optional) Free text describing what you’re looking for, used to improve relevance filtering. “Looking for product launch news and competitive moves”
Website URL Text (ad-hoc only, optional) The brand’s website. Gives the AI more context about the business. https://acme.com
Date Range Date picker with presets The time window to search for articles. Leave on “No timeframe” to default to the last 7 days. “Last 7 days”
Data Sources Checkboxes Which sources to search: News API and RSS Feeds are active. Gmail is coming soon. RSS requires a saved persona. News API: on, RSS Feeds: on
Language & Region Selectors Filters search results by language and target country/region. Pre-filled from persona settings if one is selected. English / US, UK, Canada, Australia
Max Articles to Analyze Dropdown How many articles to pull in for this run, capped by your plan’s daily article limit. “10 articles”
AI Model Dropdown (if multiple available) Which AI model to use for this specific run, if your account has access to more than one. Default model
Briefing Template Dropdown Which template structures the written summary for this run. Defaults to the persona’s assigned template, or the system default. “Client Newsletter”

Output

After clicking Generate Analysis, you’ll see a progress indicator (articles found, analyzed, and flagged relevant), followed by a results screen containing the AI-written summary and the full list of articles with relevance badges. Every run is saved automatically to the Reports page, and can be copied to your clipboard, emailed, or saved as a reusable persona from the results screen.
