How to Export and Share a Report
Every analysis you run, whether from Quick Analysis, the Advanced dashboard, or an automated briefing, is saved automatically and accessible later. This guide covers turning a saved report into something you can hand off or share outside of NewsbookLM.
Step 1: Go to Reports
Click Reports in the sidebar. You’ll see every saved report, with the most recent ones first. Use the search box and filters at the top to narrow the list by persona, date range, or keyword if you’re looking for a specific past briefing.
Step 2: Find the report to share
Click on a report card to open it. The report viewer shows the full briefing content, the underlying articles it was built from, and basic details like which persona and template were used and when it was generated.
Step 3: Export as PDF
From the report viewer, click Export to download the briefing as a branded PDF, formatted with a header and consistent styling, ready to forward as an email attachment or drop into a client deck. If you need to export several reports at once, go back to the Reports list, select multiple reports using the checkboxes, and click Export PDFs to download them all in one batch.
Step 4: Email the report directly
Instead of exporting and attaching manually, you can send the report straight from NewsbookLM. Open the report and use the Send to Stakeholders option to preview and send the briefing by email to one or more recipients. This is the fastest path when you just need to get a finished briefing into a client’s inbox without leaving the app.
You can also rename a report, edit its content directly before exporting or sending, or delete it if it’s no longer needed — all from the report viewer or the Reports list. Deleted reports are removed permanently, so double-check before confirming a delete on anything you might need later.
